Behavior: CHAMPS - Students are expected to follow expectations using the CHAMPS system in the classroom and throughout the building.
Conversation level: appropriate voice level
Help: Ask for help when needed
Activity: Specified by the teacher
Movement: Movement in the classroom as directed by the teacher
Participation: Engage in the activity as directed by the teacher
Success: Students feel success
Homework
Reading: Students are asked to read for 20 minutes two nights a week.
Math: Students are asked to complete Math Homework two nights a week.
Student agendas go home each night so parents can review what their child has been learning. Students are responsible for getting a parent's signature in their agenda each evening, (Monday – Friday).
Mrs. Brown’s Calendars can be viewed in the students’ notebooks to see how they are doing in class and what we are learning by turning the tabs.
Water Bottles
We would like students to bring a water bottle to school.
Please, no disposable bottles
Extras
Please, no toys, fidgets, or stuffed animals may be brought to school unless it is earned in the classroom.
Please do not bring recess equipment because the school provides it for the students.
